How Spinal Disc Decompression Helps

spinal decompressionIt is a fact that damaged discs seldom heal as they are constantly under pressure, even while you are at rest. The TRITON DTS™ table uses clinically proven principals to non-surgically decompress the spine and reduce pressure inside the discs. Decompression, or the reduction of pressure inside the disc, improves the transfer of fluids, nutrients, and oxygen back into the disc. Negative intradiscal pressure promotes retraction of bulging or herniated discs, which may reduce nerve pressure providing pain relief.

After only a few weeks of treatment, previous research has shown outstanding results in relieving the debilitating pain caused by degenerative, bulging, herniated or ruptured discs. The process is gradual and requires active participation by the patient. Results may vary depending upon the patients’ specific condition, overall condition and adherence to the protocol.
